Streamlined yet strengthened password manager for teams
Recognizing that the technical abilities of Passpack users can vary considerably, we redesigned the interface to cater to users of all abilities, reducing its complexity and support requirements.
The Passpack feature set has been streamlined yet strengthened. Some of the advanced features now available to IT managers and users as part of the upgraded Passpack Business Plan include:
- Upgraded team management controls with direct password sharing between team members now supported.
- Detailed user activity reporting and monitoring to increase efficiency, security, and compliance.
- The Deleted Password Recovery feature allows administrators to go back up to 12 months in time to recover lost or deleted data.
- Enhanced Single Sign-On (SSO) support, providing ease of access for Passpack users and scalability for large organizations implementing SSO.
- Google, Microsoft, and Yubi Key Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is supported for organizations requiring independent user verification before granting access. Passpack administrators can set rules requiring all users to use MFA to increase security.
- Administrators can control user account connectivity and domain interaction, preventing users from sharing data with others outside the circle of trust.
- Several more administrative support and password usage tools are scheduled for release shortly, such as advanced searching and filtering of users by credential.

Performance Enhancements
It is also essential to note that along with enhancements to the Passpack feature set, application performance has been dramatically improved, as evidenced by the speed with which it now loads Passpack accounts containing thousands of passwords; up to 50% faster depending on configuration.
The encrypted database structure of Passpack easily stores large amounts of data. Using the most current encryption standards and algorithms, the performance of uploading, decrypting, and encrypting password data for secure distribution among Passpack users is optimized.
The application’s ability to manage large numbers of users and organize them into discreet teams to collaborate and share login information across an organization has improved to a level where Passpack can now claim it is one of the most secure, scalable, and user-friendly cybersecurity solutions available.
